Search engine testing page

This web page is to test behaviour of search engines, when these are confronted with the task of searching for the following key words: color, colour, align, title, body, center (listed in any random order)

Prepared (in 2002) and updated (on 23 Septermber 2003) by Dr Jan Pajak for testing of search engines prepared during PR655 course.

Notice that you are required to alter text of this web page to facilitate the search engine testing. During this alteration you are required to compose and to add to this web page at least one further paragraph of text, that emphasizes the key word that is assigned to your Web site. (This key word is listed in the "found.txt" and "URL_DB.txt" test files.) It should, if possible, appear more than once in your text, being spelled in various cases. Simultaneously, your text should provide at random various other words of similar spelling, which search engines should be able to detect and recognise. Furthermore, after you add a paragraph to this web page, it also must contain the same key words used as a part of HTML code. Notice that search engines are going to be charged with the task of finding the following key words: color, colour, align, title, body, center (listed in any random order).

Here is are examples of this go.htm page, after it was altered by students of PR255 course in 2002: example1, example2.
